The pandemic meant that Saint Catherine’s students had to wait to have their significant achievements in the summer of 2020 formally recognised by the school.
It was with some delight that former Sixth Form students were welcomed back to receive their awards for subject excellence. Principal Noeleen Tiffney said:
“These students excelled in their individual subject areas in the most difficult of circumstances. It is particularly gratifying to see them publicly acknowledged for their success at last.”
Other award winners were:
Emma Connolly (The Croft Cup for A level Science) who is now studying Medicinal Pharmacy at QUB
Cliona Quinn (The Miriam Mone Award for outstanding creativity and expressive intelligence). Cliona now attends the Ulster University where she is studying Art and Design
