Running for Rebecca raises £5,000!

15 staff and 5 students from St. Catherine's College, Armagh, ran the Belfast City Marathon in memory of pupil, Rebecca Haughey, to raise funds for CLIC Sargent (Northern Ireland). The Hospitality class (Yr13) also organised a Coffee Morning in aid of this worthy cause. The total amount raised was an amazing £5,000! Pictured with some of those involved are Gareth McElduff (CLIC Sargent) and Rebecca's mother, Mrs. Colette Haughey. This money is earmarked for Amy’s House which was opened in January 2016. Located within walking distance of Belfast City Hospital, it offers free accommodation and support for families while a young person undergoes cancer treatment.
